Common questions
- How do I join a league?
- Open the invite link the commissioner sent you. It works on any device: add your email, confirm from the link we send back, and your seat is claimed. You can also browse public leagues under Discover.
- When does my lineup lock?
- At the first kickoff of the round, unless your league's house rules say otherwise. Every deadline in the app shows both the countdown and the exact local date and time, in the time zone set in your profile.
- What does the captain do?
- In soccer leagues, your captain scores double for that round. You pick one from your starters, and you can change them any time before the deadline.
- How do I change my squad during the season?
- In a budget league you add and drop players from your team page whenever the round is open. In a draft league your squad comes from the draft, and after it you use waivers and trades.
- How does the draft work?
- Everyone picks in turn from the shared player pool in the league's draft room. The commissioner sets the order and the pick clock; if your clock runs out, the best available player is picked for you.
- What are chips?
- Once-a-season power-ups your commissioner switches on: Wildcard makes a round's transfers free, Free hit does the same and gives your old squad back afterwards, Bench boost scores your substitutes too, and Triple captain pays your captain triple. You may play one per round, and a chip is gone once you play it. A league whose rules give a chip nothing to change is offered none, and says so.
- What are bonus points?
- After every soccer match the three best performances pick up 3, 2 and 1 extra points, ranked on the whole stat line rather than on goals alone. Leagues on positional scoring count them from the start, and any commissioner can switch them on or off.
- Can I stop the emails?
- Yes, for everything optional. League updates and reminders carry an unsubscribe link that works without logging in, and you can switch each kind on or off in your settings. Account mail such as sign-in links, invitations and security notices has no unsubscribe link, because it is the only way to reach you about your own account.
- How do I report a team name?
- Open your league's Teams page and use Report this name on the row. The report goes to Onze, not to your league: nobody in the league is told you filed it, and the manager you reported is not told either. An admin reads every report.
